SOJUPAA History

The founder and the President of Social Justice Party of Africa hereinafter referred to as SOJUPAA is ADVOCATE MARGARET MOLEFE MZAMANE. She was born in Mount Fletcher, a small town in the Eastern Cape. Her parents relocated to Matatiele while she was still young.  She attended her lower education in Mount Fletcher and Matatiele.  She completed her studies in Umtata at the then University of Transkei which is now called Walter Sisulu University.

She attained a Diploma Juris (Dip Juris), Baccalaureus Procurationis (B.Proc) and Legum Baccalaureus (LLB). She was enrolled as the Advocate of the High Court of South Africa in March 2003. She is a member of the Legal Practice Council. She has been on private practice since then until she joined the Legal Aid South Africa in 2012.

She has a long curriculum vitae of management in different areas prior to her joining the Legal Aid South Africa. As at February 2022 she is working as a Supervisory Legal Practitioner in the High Court Unit since 2016, supervising the advocates and attorneys who litigate at the HIGH COURT OF SOUTH AFRICA, GAUTENG LOCAL DIVISION. She exercised her constitutional right to establish a political party while still employed by the Legal Aid South Africa.  The Legal Aid SA is the biggest Law Firm in South Africa funded by the government.

Advocate Margaret Molefe Mzamane has passion for justice and community service.  She helped members of different communities in different ways without publicizing her actions. She formed a political party out of compassion for the youth after realizing that the current systems do not empower the youth. It deprives them of Education. She felt that the current government systems encourage state dependency rather than empowering the youth through quality Education that affords them employment immediately after completing their studies.  Her zeal to empower the youth lead to her forming a political party with the hope that through the political party she will be able to implement systems in the government that will rescue the youth and the next generation from the catastrophe.
